q4 writing support

Here’s a quick overview of the ways I’m supporting writers in Q4, including free and discounted offerings. This list may inspire you to sample something new, create new support structures for your own writing, or try one of my services.

  1. Friday Writers’ Room. On Friday mornings from 7-9 am PST, I host a free Zoom cowriting session. We briefly declare our writing goals for the session and then get to work. Having this protected “meeting” on the calendar and the company of other writers has been a boon this busy semester. Consider starting your own cowriting session, or shoot me an email to join this one.

  2. Year-end planning session! If you are interested in a two-hour planning session, shoot me an email. This will be a free Zoom workshop on December 29th, from 9-11 PST. We will reflect on how our writing went in 2022 and make plans for how we want it to go in 2023.

  3. DISCOUNTED book proposal editing. I’m working with a colleague on putting together a book proposal workshop. I’d like to be able to use some fresh samples in the workshop. For academic authors who would be willing to have their writing used in this training, I am offering the significantly discounted rate of $195 for a full developmental edit of the proposal. If this is you, drop me a line or set up a meeting.

  4. Coaching and Developmental Editing. These aren’t specific to Q4, though academics may find the final months of the year a good time to consider these offerings.
